type project

for our new project we have to design some styles of font i have done some by hand that i will scan in at a later date, and loads of people took pics of sweets and such objects in the letters, last night i got loads of small army men and melted them together to create the alphabet.

this is my fav one of all the ones i have done, the letter B

i photographed them on a camo coat and also on a pure whit background and floor so i can easily cut it out and apply my own backgrounds.

more ideas for my website

thinking alot about the out come and style for my website, as i prefer drawing by hand i think it should be more hand made based then photoshoped to hell. an idea i had was on main page a photo of me down in the corner and then around me have all the direction buttons, then say u click illustrations the photo of me would turn/more/scroll to next page of an illustration of me, then digital work have a digital illustration of me, about me have a pic of me at a gig or a skating photo, and so on, basically have an image of me to reflect to what the view is looking at.

starting to anamating

started to take an interested again into animation, iv only ever done small 150 or so frame animation and done 3d stop frame animation before
to help me learn some new skills and improve what i already no im atm reading "the animator's survival kit" by richard williams.
im planing on starting a simple walk cycle with one of my simple characters. i will keep adding my progress to how the animation is going.

some web designs

these are 3 quick digital ideas for my layout for my web page.
-a skate theme where the wheel spins around and the buttons are on that and the main display will be on the board.
-retro gaming one where u have to shoot the aliens for the buttons to go to different pages
-a nes and t.v with the cartridges as link pages that get displayed on the t.v and the nes controller will control what is going on
some other ideas i have are
-using some of my stickers i designed animating them having them as buttons(one of my favs)
-picture of me in a plain room click different parts of me for the buttons main display will be on back wall.
-a silhouette of my head and inside u can see a brain click different parts of the brain and the page link comes out of my eyes.
-old land with dinosaurs animated click them for the buttons and the main display will be in the smoke from the volcano

this guy is a big insperation to my drawing style

this is some of his new work called "death of summer" i like the hole idear and the concept behind this

this is one of my fav bits of his worked named "nuclear sunset"

i like how its framed with no stright edges works well with the image itself and the use of colours go well

the thing i love most about his work is the atention to detail

 

uni ideas

really interested in illustration and animation also wouldn't mind getting in to print, ideally i would like to go to brighton uni and study illustration
